Track screws GOCT 809-71 and GOCT 809-2014 are used in railway construction for fastening rails to wooden sleepers. Thanks to the use of travel screws, the reliability and strength of the entire fastening unit is ensured.
According to the rules of GOST, screws are made from steel blanks of grades St3, St20, St10kp and St20kp. In this case, the application of a protective coating on the part is not provided. However, for products of 2 and 3 versions, it is possible to apply a zinc coating with a thickness of 9 to 18 microns. In addition, GOST establishes the accuracy class of the product - C and three options for execution, which differ in shape. The standard length of the screw is within 170 mm (+/- 10 mm.)
Cracks and delaminations are not allowed on the surface of the part. It is also forbidden to sell screws with an offset axis of the head relative to the rod. The marking of the enterprise is applied to the end of the screw head.
